After teaming up on a music video, it seems Lady Gaga and Beyonce are now keen to work on a series of collaborations together.

Lady Gaga has been spilling the beans on how the two divas plan to work on two forthcoming singles together, and possibly her second album.

“I want to do my version of Beyoncé,” Lady Gaga told New York’s Z100 radio station.

Lady Gaga has already made a cameo in Beyonce’s forthcoming video for Video Phone – a photo was leaked of her on set wearing a white leotard and long white gloves.

“[Beyoncé] called me and she said, ‘What do you want to do?’” Lady Gaga explained.

“And I’m like, ‘I don’t want to show up in some frickin’ hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video’. I said, ‘I want to do you.’”

“The whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé,” Gaga added.

The outlandish singer is also offering fans a super special treat if they shell out $99.98 (£61.25) for the Super Deluxe Pack of her extended album The Fame Monster – a lock of her hair.

As well as the album and hair, fans will also receive paper dolls, 3D glasses and a Book of Gaga, collector’s edition art table book.

Online piracy has been a much-debated issue for a long time now. Recently, around hundred British musicians came to a nearly unanimous decision that in order to ensure that music is not downloaded illegally, internet speeds of offenders should be reduced, so that downloading becomes difficult.

However, a new approach has been suggested by Charles Dunstone, CEO of Carphone Warehouse, who is planning to implement his idea to control piracy through the TalkTalk broadband network.

According to his idea, broadband customers could use the same strategy used in cinema for rating movies according to age. Parents can decide what kind of stuff they want their child to access, depending on the license they take for their broadband connection. TalkTalk will offer customers the option of a U, 14 or 18 certificate or an unclassified broadband connection.

If your broadband has a U or a 14 certificate, you can ensure that no file sharing will be possible on your computer. The network will also not be able to access content such as pornography and gambling. This will cut down on the illegal file sharing practised online and will reduce the rates of online piracy as well, as file sharing is the most common method of such piracy. This will also ensure that children do not have access to those sites that can damage the internet connection. This licensing system will also help the content industry by filtering sites that are BitTorrent enabled.

Glasvegas frontman James Allan has revealed that the band are set to record their second album in Los Angeles this winter.

The singer/guitarist explained that he was moving to live in the west coast city permanently, and is going to build a home studio to demo the album before recording it with producer Rich Costey, who helmed the Glasgow band’s 2008 self-titled debut. The band wil follow up the Mercury Nominated prize album.

Allan revealed that songs set for inclusion on the album include ‘Sonic Silence’, ‘Whatever Hurts You Through The Night’ and ‘Born To Die’.

“I’ve got to set up the equipment in the house,” he told NME.COM. “I don’t like the idea of going into a studio and spending one block of time there. I’ve got a good bond with Rich, I believe he’s got more in him than the first record.”

The frontman added that despite the dour-sounding new song titles, he actually believed the album would be an optimistic affair.

“[For the first album] I left myself in a position of being stuck with a grey cloud hanging over me,” he explained. “I wanted to escape it – I like to think that a lot of my thoughts and optimism are going towards being liberated.”
