RENEW International has resuscitated parishioners belief in parishes and communities all over the world. It has helped more than 25 million American citizens and parishioners in twenty-two countries experience the miraculous transformation of living in Gods grace. RENEW International shows its ministry how to live according to Scripture and to strengthen their relationship with God.
RENEW International is a multinational Catholic ministry and part of the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ. It came from the remarkable vision of a resuscitated Church by Msgr. Tom Kleissler and Msgr. Tom Ivory, who wanted to more deeply involve laypersons and have them help address parish, civic, and worldwide concerns. At the heart of RENEW International programs is the idea of dividing a parish into smaller, caring Christian communities. This approach grants followers a better chance to study Scripture, ascertain to live the Gospel, and see God at work in their lives. They feel support from their fellow participants and form important friendships within the Catholic community.
Through RENEW International, individuals learn to trust and support one another as they gather to study, reflect, and pray. Participants of RENEW International curricula experience a rejuvenated spirit. They become more committed, satisfied Catholics with a stronger kinship with God.
