My mother and I never thought the sparkling Nancy Utsinger, our family friend, could wear medical wigs. Her voluminous hair and fashion flowed in sync with her mystique. Have you seen her lately? Our favorite gal continues to be celebrated because of her trademark toss ‘n turn. Very few can tell she compensates for medical hair loss with wigs. They work well.

Back in the day as blossoming ladies in the hill country, we used to swept all the beauty pageants. A few years went by before her women’s hair loss reared its head and she went bald. I did hint at these lace wigs. Oh well, she shrugged it off. What a strong soul, she took the time and never let you forget about her shaved head.

Attending the school’s golf competition, we heckled until a numbskull clumsily launched the ball (or that thing they use) into the stands. Quick on her feet, she dove for the ball when her cute little hat landed in a beer, revealing her hair (or lack thereof). Totally upreturbed, she tossed the ball back to the field. What’d I tell ya about her spunk?

That said, who can be invincible at all times? Not too long after we got together for a mid-day lemonade chat, the day she very sincerely confided that she prefers to go bald out of bitterness. She dare not consider human hair wigs, secretly acknowledging she wanted one. At that disclosure, the punk grew embarrassed and asked that I can’t mention it again. I thought “oh, well.”

I thought about it all night. Later on, I IM’d with her about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. Finally we both arrived at an agreement: we were going wig shopping! So I’m getting one too!

The both of us were stunned by the fashionable styles. She never imagined that human hair wigs were so prevalent for beautiful people and famous actors. These women’s wigs were exactly what she needed. I coordinated a delightfully contemporary wardrobe to wear with my synthetic wig. We do it all together, you know. For my birthday she thanked me for invisible lace front wig, and explained it encourages a feminine mystique for many occasions. It’s encouraging to have helped her live a happier existence. I’m right there with her.
