A resume plays a crucial role in our lives. Whether its your first job or your changing your profession, a winning resume is what you need. This will distinguish you from the rest. So, it’s time to focus your time and energy on creating that winning resume. There are thousands of employers just waiting to hear from you and now is your time to shine.

The resume is the first impression an employer sees of you and it has to shine as your entrance into the employers mind. It should be something that is different and yet simple and it should follow some conventions.

Today’s resumes though have to tell the employer about you in about 10 seconds or they move on to another person. I order to make sure you’re one of those who get into an interview; here are 10 tips to help:

  1. Clarity make sure that your resume is clear and reads well. Employers are checking for more than just what you do; they want to make sure you can write well.
  1. Attractiveness although you aren’t there are win a beauty contest with your resume, it should be pleasing to the eye and attention getting. You can do this without using special characters.
  1. Keywords every profession no matter what it is has a variety of keywords it uses. The employer will expect you to use these words on your winning resume.
  1. Formatting formatting your resume is part of the attractiveness. Always use a clear font like Arial and at least a 12 font. Remember it has to be easy to read and for some employers, smaller fonts are difficult to see.
  1. Check it once, twice, three times check your resume to make sure there are no typos or misspellings. This leads to a sloppy resume. Have someone else check it over as a second opinion.
  1. Make it interesting although a resume highlights your job information, it can be an interesting read. Use full sentences and only write about your experience that is pertinent to the job for which you are applying.
  1. Use action words we emphasize this in two points because people forget to use action words. You want your resume to come alive in a manager’s hand and you want it to look different.
  1. Motivation what motivates you in a job? Let the employer know. It is very important to let the potential employer know what job you are applying for and your goals and objectives for that job.
  1. Emphasize achievement not job duties let the employer know what you achieved in the other positions. They will want to know what you will bring to them.

Customize your winning resume if you have had more than one job or interest, it’s a good idea to have more than one resume targeted to each interest.

Past life regression, also known as PLR, could uncover the reason why we have problems with individuals in our current life or why we are worried of certain situations. You have boyfriends around you in your current life that you would have extraordinarily met before, just imagine being capable to learn what happened and what your relationship was to them at that past time and remove blocks that plague you in your current lifetime and even find out talents and bring them into your present lifetime. Past lifetime regression, aka PLR, is terrific.

When you are having a past lifetime regression session you should regress to the lifetime you most need to see about in your current lifetime. This is phenomenal and will clarify an enormous deal about your current lifetime and help you would to move forward with your life with a greater understanding of yourself, your life and the family around you.

You might often also learn why you are the individual that you are, now that is phenomenal. If you revel in nature perhaps you were once working as a farmer, if you like to travel perhaps you were an explorer. Instead of dampening down our strengths we should embrace them.

Each respective experience is marvellous and unique. Other people have uncovered places they?d lived in before and ?knew? where to go. Use Regression therapy with Anne Jirsch.

The video gaming experience is different for everyone, it could end in hours of entertainment for a family or for the less experience, the final result could be disappointment due to lack of knowledge of how to operate the game console. When you are shopping for a new game console, you may find it difficult as there are so many different options to choose from. The information you are looking for can be very difficult to find, but you will find there’s a lot of misinformation out there.

First off, here are some questions that you need to ask yourself and you should keep in mind while reading:

-What are the types of games that interest you?
Do you plan on buying an HDTV anytime soon or do you already have one?

What type of budget do you have to work with?

Do you prefer multi-player games, or single-player games?
Have you got any of the old school gaming systems?

The PlayStation 3 was the most pricey for quite a while. It’s a good thing that you will now find lower prices on them. Now priced at four hundred US dollars (it all depends on the model you plan on buying)it has pricing that is more attractive compared their competitors. Prices change constantly so chech the latest video games console prices online.

The Playstation 3 is more than another mere game console! As it’s compatible with Blu-Ray, CD, and DVD media, it also has the ability to play DVDs in HD. Blu-Ray is now the leading high-definition film format; thus, if you’ve got an HDTV but no HD movie player, a PS3 might be a great means of getting both your movie and your gaming needs met in just one place. Without an HDTV display, movies in Blu-ray format don’t provide any better quality. That feature will not be of any use to you if you have only an old-fashioned standard-def TV.

While virtually the same as the PS2 controller, the controller features motion sensing technology known as Sixaxis. The controller, which can be tilted in six different directions, is able to sense which of the directions to which it has been tilted. The results vary from game to game based on well this has been incorporated. Doing it well means you’ll gain lots of experience, doing it wrong means you’ll be nothing more than a problem. You need to keep in mind that the Sixasis controller is missing the vibration feature. The newly released DualShock 3 controller with vibration will not be included with newly purchased PS3s until June 12, 2008.

Video games for the PS3 and Xbox 360 are pretty much the same the same for either system.

The appearance of your web site text can actually increase or decrease your sales. The size, font, style and colour of your text can easily affect your reader’s buying decision. Below are ten points to consider when typing text on your web site.

1. Easy To Read – You want to make it easy for your visitors to read your text. You shouldn’t use a light coloured text like yellow on a white background and you don’t want to use dark blue text on a black back-ground.

2. Create A Mood – You want to use the colour of your text to create a mood for the reader. If you want to create excitement, use red text. If you want to create greed, use green text. Use colours that would put you in the mood to buy your product.

3. Grab Their Attention – You can grab your readers attention by using headlines. Make the headline more noticeable by using a different coloured headline than your ad copy. This offsets the headline and pulls the reader into the rest of your ad copy.

4. Highlight Keywords – You can emphasize phrases and keywords that are important to your readers. For instance, use super, deluxe, fast, low price, free, new, etc. You could use bolding, underlining, italics, colour changing, etc.

5. Sizing It Up – You don’t want to use text that is too small or too large. You want to use larger text for your headlines and subheadings. You want to use smaller text for your ad copy. If your grandparents can’t read it, it’s too small!

6. Don’t Use All CAPS! – You don’t want to use all capital letters in your ad copy. It looks unprofessional and is hard to read. You may want to use all CAPS in your headlines to offset it.

7. Choose your font with care – You want to use a text font that relates to the product or services your selling. You don’t want to use a comic type font when you are selling business books.

8. Spacing Out – Give your text “room to breathe”. You should indent and bullet key benefits your product or service gives to the reader. Your headlines, subheadings, sentences and paragraphs should be consistently spaced throughout your web site.

9. I Need Sunglasses – Don’t use all bright text colours and backgrounds on your web site. It will make your text hard to read and actually bother your readers’ eyes to the point they just decide to leave your site.

10. Check The Readability – It’s important to check your spelling and grammar before you upload your web page. When writing an ad copy you’re allowed to break some of those grammar rules to get your point across, but don’t overdo it.

Playing online poker versus offline can be two different types of games for the player. Poker that is played offline is at a real table, followed by real players, cards, chips and often-real money. Online poker can vary in what is has, but everything, besides people and money is virtual.

Poker played offline is where players can see other’s faces and be able to have tell signs of how a player may act. Online poker you are often left with trying to find a pattern based on how they bet, check or fold their hands. Chips are counted for you and talking is often done in a little chat room.

Does this mean online poker is less fun? No, it means it is just a different way of playing the game. Money maybe deposited in an account for you to use rather than have it in front of you on a green felt table. Checking is done by clicking in the game compared to maybe saying it or simply knocking your hand on the table.

Either way you play poker, online or offline, the enjoyment is the game. Poker game varieties help you to keep interested and challenged. Tournaments offline or online, give poker enthusiasts a chance to test their skills. Both ways of playing poker can be a real experience and fun that can last for a long time.

When it comes to wording your wedding invitations, a lot of it is going to depend on how formal your wedding is and whether or not you go with elegant wedding invitations or if you go with more contemporary wedding invitations instead. Of course some of the invitation wording also depends on the person that is paying for the wedding as well. While there are some guidelines to follow with the invitation wording, none of the rules are set in stone, so you can change some things if you want to. Let’s take a closer look at wording the invitations, some do’s and don’ts, and different situations that can change the wording.

General Do’s and Don’ts

When it comes to wedding invitations and the right wording, there are some general do’s and don’ts you need to be aware of. So, the following are a few to keep in mind.

  • - First of all, never use a period at the end of any of the lines. There is no need for them on a wedding invitation.
  • - Always make sure that proper given names are used and that the names are spelled out fully instead of using nicknames.
  • - The only abbreviations that you should use on a wedding invitation include Jr., Mrs., Mr., and Dr.
  • - Unless you have a proper noun at the beginning of the line, the first letter on every line is not to be capitalized.
  • - All the dates and the times should be totally written out.
  • - The first word of the year should be capitalized as well
  • - For church weddings, the phrase, “the honour of your presence is requested” is used, but it is not used for weddings that are held anywhere else.

If there’s one thing that most web site developers can agree on, it’s this: content is king.

That’s not, of course, to say that good design doesn’t matter. It does. A good, clean design, which is easy to navigate and optimised for search engines is absolutely essential if you want your online business to be a success. When you get right down to it, though, visitors don’t come to your website to admire it. It’s content that brings them there, and it’s content that keeps them coming back for more. Or not, as the case may be.

Why website content matters

The content of your website is important for lots of different reasons. Here are just two of them:

1. It’s your content which persuades a visitor to become a customer. If your text content is persuasive entertaining and informative, you’ll find it that much easer to make a sale. If your content is poorly spelled, dull as ditchwater and reads like it was written by a four-year-old, your visitors won’t be able to leave fast enough. It’s that simple.

2. Search engines love fresh content. A site which has regular updates will rank higher than a website which is completely static (all other things being equal), which is a persuasive reason for keeping your content fresh.

So how do you get good content? Well, you have three basic choices:

Write your website content yourself

In an ideal world, everyone would do this. Let’s face it: there’s no one in the world who knows as much about your business as you do, and there’s no one more passionate about making it succeed as you are. Unfortunately, though, it’s not an ideal world. When your site is new, adding content is easy: you’re full of new ideas and new things to say, and you’ll have no problem dreaming up new content to add. It’s only after a few weeks, months or even years that it gets difficult: you don’t have the time, you don’t have the ideas, and, let’s be honest, you quite often won’t have the skill to write good content.

This point is crucial. It’s not just any old content that’s king: it has to be good content. Content that really draws the reader in, sells the benefits of your business, and makes the reader want to come back for more. Professional copywriters spend years learning how to do this: are you sure you can do it just as well?

Get your content from a free article bank

There are free article banks all over the web, and they’re all stocked full of free content which you can use on your website for free. This is a great idea, and many people use article banks to great effect. There are just two slight drawbacks, however. The first is that your content isn’t original. Anyone can use the same articles you’re using, and the really good articles will often appear on many websites at any one time. The second drawback is that in order to find content which is relevant to your site, you’ll often find yourself using articles written by your competitors – and being forced to put their URL and bio at the end of them.

Get custom content for your website

Before you run off screaming in horror, paying someone to write articles for your website needn’t be expensive. Constant Content has custom articles for sale for as little as $40 at a time, and www.WritingWorld.org offers custom article writing for even less.

Getting the right content for your website doesn’t have to break the bank (or even make you break a sweat). Do you think you can afford NOT to do it?.

I’ve always had this hang up and fear about making money online. It’s always been this enigmatic and nebulous kind of realm that I thought was solely for computer geeks and nerds. In my mind I thought that you had to know complicated html coding and all sorts of weird and wonderful computer jargon to make money online. You see I’m an average computer and internet user, meaning the only things I know how to do are surf the net and use the basic windows functions. The last couple years though I kept on hearing about how “average” people have been achieving the internet dream of making money online, all this being done without being an html superstar.

Recently my interest on making money online has piqued a bit and I found myself reading this cool e-book online about success strategies on the topic. The concept that stood out like a sore thumb to me out of all of them was Kaizen. What is Kaizen you ask? It is the Japanese philosophy of “continuous improvement” that was brought into the country by the American Edward Deming in post WWII Japan.

I know continuous improvement is a simple phrase (and it may not be a new fangled internet strategy) – but don’t let this deceive you . It is a very powerful concept indeed as I have “newly” discovered. It was pointed out to me that if you or I had a basic website to start out with and made an incremental improvement of only 5% per week, you would double the quality and/or content of that site every 14 weeks! Can you think of anything that improves in quality that much every 14 weeks?

If you have these small consistent improvements occur to your website, by the end of the year the results that you would have will be a lot better. Not just a little better but EXPONENTIALLY better then when you started. Read that again, small and consistent improvements….. Imagine if you applied this simple yet powerful concept to EVERY area of your life? Could you imagine what your world would be like at the end of the year? The end of two years? Five years? Ten? It just boggles my mind just thinking about the possibilities.

You know it’s all well and good to talk about end results and all that but it all boils down to taking that first step on that project you’ve been thinking about. I guess heard the saying – you eat an elephant a bite at a time. So don’t worry too much and just take that first step. Just do it (those famous words). Then once you know how your results, work on improving on it bit by bit because the journey is just as important as the goal.

This is my first step, I look forward to seeing you along the way :)
