Notebook computer shipments are estimated to be in the region of 126million units this year, which is a lot! It seems like the demand is overwhelming the supply as manufacturers are stretched to meet deadlines for shipments. This is one trade which I don’t think will be affected with all the financial conditions that seems to be going on. Whatever you do you’re playing with technology that is evolving all the time so its tough to keep up to date.

Laptop computers are becoming more apt for gaming due to continuing performance increases. With prices falling and new technology being launched rather fast it means that consumers are getting increased roi. I play games on my notebook on a frequent basis and must say I’m surprised how playable some of the intense games are. Past obstactles with massive, over heating laptops for gaming are fading away and new sleeker, slicker units are being launched. Gaming performance between laptops and desktops should always be in favour of desktops though, clearly because desktops are always going to be considerably spacious and more powerful. It seems as if everyone is possessed with making slimmer, lighter laptops and I’m certain we’ll see gaming laptops like that in the near future.

Now and then the popular mass market laptops just aren’t adequate for what we require them for so custom laptops will always be here. Sometimes with larger brands the standard of the prime components is not upto scratch. By being able to choose precisely what you need you can even keep on to some cash in a couple of deals. The laptops seen in stores are for typical use. Custom made laptops are around for this reason. They fulfil requirements that others can’t. There are many small computer builders about that provide excellent service. I surely think this is a main thing that goes in favour for buying a notebook thats made to .

Amazing is a word that comes to mind when thinking of the next rang of portable computers. The ultra cheap umpc sector seems to be drumming up all the buzz at this time. Plenty of equivalent devices have already been released at a fast pace. People would like to have big screen ultraportables if that makes sense. I’m certain a few manufacturers are proactively working on such projects. I’m wondering how long before we run across gaming ultra portables. All the companies are striving to introduce the next big portable so it’ll be exciting to observe.

Life after divorce is something that most people who are going through divorce think about. Thinking about having a life after divorce or thinking about how your life will be after divorce, are common because people tend to fear for themselves. In fact, think about having a life after divorce while getting a divorce can be a sticking point for some people because they just aren’t sure what their life will “look like” after divorce.

Here’s 5 things to keep in mind so can have a life after divorce:

Life after divorce item 1: Think about your emotional stability…if you wanted the divorce or not, you must face it head on.

Divorce is tough and whether you’re going through it or your are already past it, your emotional stability is of vital importance because you might tend to be somewhat touchy after going through an emotional ordeal. Keep in mind that your life after divorce can be great but you must admit that you will go through (or have gone through) a trying time in your life. Admitting this and facing your situation head on is important to your emotional stability and critical to you having a happy life after divorce.

Life after divorce item 2: Look at the bright side, having life after divorce could be a new start for you!

How may times in your life do you wish you could have just started over knowing what you know now? If you answered “many”, don’t worry, that’s a common thought most of us have. Having a positive mental attitude about your new beginning will make a huge difference in how happy your life will be after divorce. Life after divorce can be fantastic and it can also be very tough if you don’t remain positive about a what’s in front of you. Look at the glass as being “half full” and realize that, in order to be happy after divorce, you must take advantage of the opportunity to get a fresh start!

Life after divorce item 3: Surround yourself with people you like in your free time.

Too often times people start new relationships with just about anyone because they are lonely while getting a divorce or after getting a divorce. Sparking a relationship, romantic or friendly, with anyone and everyone who will spend time with you can contribute to unhappiness in your life after divorce. Stop and think about the people that you spend time with and ask yourself, “Once my emotional turmoil has ended, would I really want to keep the relationship going with this person?”. Life after divorce is tough…so, when you’re deciding about divorce, going through one, or already have been through a divorce, make sure that you carefully choose who to spend your free time with or you may fall into more negativity in your life after divorce.

Life after divorce item 4: Make it a point to spend time doing things that you like to do every week.

Make sure that you spend time enjoying your life after divorce – don’t forget to ’stop and smell the roses’. Some people vent, work, go into hiding, or just plain go haywire after getting a divorce and their subsequent life after divorce isn’t as healthy as possible. At least once a week, take the time to go and do something that you really enjoy doing…it will help you deal with your life after divorce in a more pleasing manner.

Life after divorce item 5: Set specific goals and implement a plan to achieve those goals.

Life after divorce is a tumultuous time, your life can seemingly be ‘in the balance’. In order to make sure that you feel good about yourself and enjoy the feeling that accomplishment brings, think about a goal or set of goals that you’ve always had but never attained. Then, prioritize those goals and devise a plan to obtain them, one by one. Implement each plan and be happy (in fact celebrate) once you’ve reached your goal. Your life after divorce will be markedly better and healthier if you take this concept to heart and follow it.

Visualizing your life after divorce (and thinking about what your life might be like after divorce) is a sound and logical thing to do in order to be happy after divorce. Your life after divorce does not need to be a continuation of the pain you might have gone through or are currently going through.

Life after divorce can be extremely liberating if you act based on logic plus positive emotions rather than negativity. If divorce is eminent or you’ve already been through divorce, take the time to actually plan your life after divorce.

I know your thinking…Okay John, 5+5 does not equal 5 so let me please explain. Let’s start with a question. How many times have you heard that you need to have a “long term” goal and be focused for the entire length of that “long term”? In this article, I am going to focus on a 5 year goal and explain how you will know if you are truly on track to achieve your 5 year goal in life.
In the equation, the answer 5 is your five-year goal and the 5+5 is the underlying secret to attaining that goal.

As I speak with numerous people on a daily basis, I hear their frustration about their goals that they’ve set and the lack of progress that they have made. As I say, “A mountain is built one pebble at a time and climbed one step at a time.”

The first “5″ in the equation represents the 5 people that you call our friends, associates, etc. I suggest that you make a list of the 5 people that you associate with on a regular basis, and then take a good look at it to see if they either have goals similar to yours or are progressing towards the achievement of a goal similar to your 5-year vision. A major key to unlock the secret to your future is to be 110% conscious of the fact that you will ultimately become who you associate with. For example, if you have dreams of becoming healthy and wealthy and your associates are overweight smokers that complain about working one-minute overtime, then I can predict the odds of you being healthy and wealthy is slim to none. Millions of people never attain their dreams, because their “friends” serve as “cement shoes” as they walk towards their goals in life. As I set my goals, I surround myself with people who are on the same path in life that I am on. If you truly internalize this same mindset, then you can achieve your goals in life.

The second “5″ in the equation is to take a personal inventory of the last 5 books that you have read or cd’s that you have listened to. Just for fun, the next time one of your friends complains about something…ask them what were the last 5 books that they have read or cd’s they have listened to. You will get one of two answers: I do not remember or I do not have the time to read. Your last 5 books that you read will determine where your focus or direction is in life. The average person reads 1 book a year after high school, which is the #1 reason why 95% of people are “dead broke at age 65″.

Even the greatest computer in the world needs to be programmed in order to perform its functions. We are all designed for greatness, but we need to be conscious of our associations and what we are reading or listening to on a daily basis will decide the level of greatness that we all reach. Decide today to focus on your 5 year goal and realize that your 5 friends and the 5 books/cd’s that you listen to will determine if you hit your Why or not. Success is simple, but not easy because it takes the ability to grow, stretch, search and learn to enjoy everyday as you progress towards your 5-year Dream.

I can actually predict your results…

5 + 5 = Your Dream

The policies of many agencies are very protective about the home environment in which the Greyhound will be placed. Often, the adoption placement process ie. application, interview and approval can be quite lengthy. Some groups will not place dogs into apartments, homes without fenced yards or homes with cats, toddlers or stairs. And most if not all have the potential adopter promise to keep their Greyhound on a leash at all times when outside of a protected area or reserve the right to take the dog back. Adoption placement cost is usually not a major factor. Most agencies charge from $75 to $225.

Be sure to compare medical services provided. All agencies should clip the nails, test for heartworm and provide basic shots and de-worming medicine. After adoption placement many groups offer support, as needed. Often this support makes the difference in whether the dog stays or gets returned. In terms of philosophy some agencies strongly oppose dog racing, and others are operated by the dog tracks. Many organizations remain neutral to preserve their relationships with the trainers or to avoid jeopardizing monetary support from the tracks.

Many agencies place their Greyhounds into a home environment for a brief period before adoption placement. Fostering is usually a great way to ease the transition. During the foster period, many agencies have the dog’s teeth cleaned and have them spayed or neutered. The foster families make sure the dogs are housebroken as well as introduce the dogs to many of the new experiences of retired life, such as televisions, stairs, mirrors, couches and children. Some groups test their dogs to determine whether they are cat-safe. If you have a cat or other small pet, be sure to ask for a dog with a low prey drive. Some agencies will make a real effort to evaluate the Greyhound’s personality to ensure a good match. Some adoption groups do not have the resources to foster the dogs; in this case placement often occur straight from the kennel.

Here’s a blurb from one of my newsletters I wanted to release as the topic was recently brought up in conversation. Many people believe the mlm or network marketing industry to be promoted on nothing other than hype. One can’t blame these people because there’s so much of it out there. However, we can all work together to bring a higher level of integrity to the industry as a whole so people can truly see network marketing for the great business that it can be and is to many.

When helping your prospect to reach an informed decision to do business with you, create a competitive advantage by not using hype in your message. This starts with understanding the difference between Excitement and Hype.

Excitement is the natural positive attitude that is displayed from within when sharing something of value with someone else. Hype includes incredulous claims or “smoke and mirrors” that display a message to the prospect of being “too good to be true.” Put another way, Excitement doesn’t need to include Hype but Hype almost always includes Excitement. Be aware of how your message is received by your prospect. No one likes a grouch or someone who is boring and Excitement is contagious. If you don’t cross the line into Hype you create for yourself a competitive advantage as a marketer since so many marketers are promoting on Hype.

Stress can stop your weight loss goals about as much as eating
a family size bag of Nacho chips and a 2-Liter bottle of pop
can.

My approach to weight loss was in gaining my health. Losing
300 pounds was not the first thing that occurred to me, but
rather “what could I do to get healthy and eat right”. It was
a very strange approach given that I was obviously clinically
obese and immediately needed some quick weight loss.

I had no idea that our body used food in a very specific manor
and that we could improve our energy levels by working with
the body, not against it. There were some very specific rules
to follow, so being the good student I followed them. It
became a religion for me and as I preached it, I made many
people quite crazy. I became an outcast because I had to
prepare my food differently and would not eat with the gang at
meal times. My food was prepared differently, eaten
differently and eventually I even came to ask food servers to
use different spatulas to flip my “veggie burger” from the
grill.

I followed the rules and I increased my energy. I began eating
better and my energy levels increased enough that my weight
loss began and I started to become lean and healthy.

Then the stuff hit the fan

Well, it hit their fan, not mine.

Friends began to talk behind my back about wanting the old Rob
back. In one instance, I was held down on a couch while cola
was poured into my mouth against my will. They wanted their
old funny, fat, life of the party friend back, not this health
nut with all these food rules.

I think I first became aware of being stressed about food at a
birthday party I was asked to attend. It was a time of
celebration, but do you want to know what I was thinking?

“Do I or don’t I have a piece of cake?”

“This is totally processed, unnatural food. No fiber, no
wholeness and it contained sugars, lard and all kinds of other
crap”.

I had a whole bunch of thoughts about how this would affect my
weight loss goals, my health and my eating habits.

I was weighing the thoughts of being socially acceptable
against the health choice of having this one little piece of
cake. I thought about losing them as friends if I did not
accept the cake and weighed it against the impact this poor
food choice was going to have on my body. I had already lost
friends because of my food choices and I really did not want
to lose more.

I’m sure you’ve been there yourself, having to make a decision
based on your social status vs your health. It’s a very quick
thought process, but you notice that your blood pressure goes
up, your heart begins to beat faster, you begin to sweat… you
know what I mean?

I ate the cake.

I felt like crap.

I felt like crap on many levels and I was stressing about this
excessively. I felt bad that I had to make that choice in this
manner. I felt bad because the sugar was surging into my
blood and I felt bad because I “thought about this way too
much”

At some point, you need to let go of it all.

There is energy in food; in the love and people around you
that prepared the food and the circumstances in which it’s
eaten. Never eat a meal when you are upset or sad because you
should be enjoying the meal and taking in all the goodness in
what the earth has brought to your body. Take in all that
goodness and let go of all the stress.

Eat naturally as much as you can and increase the amount of
whole foods in your diet. Make a choice to remove processed
foods and beverages such as cola’s, fruit juices, coffee and
traditional teas. Eat with a smile on your face and give
thanks to everyone involved in bringing the meal, the
nutrition and that energy into your body.

Then when the time is right, have fun and enjoy the health
you’ve created.

There was a very dramatic shift in my life, my health and my
weight loss when I made the choice to enjoy some foods again.
I began to break my own rules and live my life. I began to
have fun with food and fun came back into my life.

Let go.

Windsor Castle is understood to be the biggest populated castles on the planet and the eldest in continuous inhabitation (over nine hundred years). It’s one of the Queen’s 3 official homes, & is tine and time again beloved to be her outright preferred home. The Royal Standard soars over the Round Tower of Windsor Castle whenever Queen Elizabeth 2 is at the residence – at other occasions, the Union Jack banner soars in its place.

Samuel Pepys once stated Windsor Castle to be “the single most passionate castle on the planet.” That was thought in sixteen-sixty-six & the comparable has been said today.

Windsor Castle Electrifying History:

The erection of Windsor can be found in the seventh century Saxon village of Windlesora, where the modern day village of Old Windsor is located. The settlement of Windsor is generally identified as “New Windsor” – the actual phrase “new” being used in a relative sense!

Windsor Castle in the beginning was put up by the famous William the Conqueror, following his raid of England in ten-sixty-six. The original building was assembled from lumber with earth defences. Windsor Castle held an understandable tactical position on a big mound just above the River Thames, and was a division of an assortment of castles in the region London, with the Tower of London, one whole days trek away, at its core.

The Palace was later re-erected in rock, and increased in significance over the centuries. Henry II assembled the Round Tower & the original stone outer wall. Following the English Civil War, the structure’s key function became that of a royal palace. Windsor Castle has remained significantly unchanged from the early 19th century, apart from the repair job straight after the recent fire. Kids’ fitness is a major concern today with several kids becoming overweight or even obese by the time they reach their teenage years. Over 40% of the kids in the US are believed to be overweight. Even though obesity is often believed to be because of genetic factors or because of over-eating, lack of proper exercise is also a major reason for obesity among children. There is an imbalance between activity and diet that causes even children who eat normally to put on excessive weight. Obesity is determined by calculating the body mass index, which is the ratio between the height and the weight. A BMI between 17 and 23 is considered healthy. Anything higher than this is considered to be obesity.

These days, there are special fitness programs exclusively for kids. These include exercises, healthy nutritional plans, and even emotional strengthening. Kids’ fitness programs are designed to be a lot of fun. They are also designed based on their age.

Kid fitness programs are comprised of several activities like: T-ball, hockey, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, flag football, track and field, boxing, kickboxing, and martial arts. There are also special fitness programs that use unique skills like dancing, ballet, cheerleading, gymnastics, and yoga. Kids should also be encouraged to participate in rigorous activities like tag, chase, jump rope, random running, racing, swimming, cycling, and walking.

There are also fitness programs that involve the whole family. These are a great way to incorporate healthy living into the entire family’s routine, so that the kids do not feel alienated when they have to exercise alone. Nowadays, many summer camps are incorporating fitness programs into their regimes. There are also special fitness programs for kids with disabilities.

Buying a house is one of the most expensive things most people will ever do. With the average home in the United States now costing more than $200,000, it will take a half a million dollars to buy it outright once the interest on the loan is taken into consideration and for most people, thirty years of hard work. But what if something happens to you during the life of your mortgage? What will happen to your family if you should die before the house is paid off? Will they have a place to live?

One solution to this scenario, called mortgage life insurance, is offered by most lending companies. This is an insurance policy that the buyer purchases along with the loan; the premium is added to the monthly house payment. Should the buyer die or become disabled, the home loan will be paid off.

This may sound like a good idea. Should you buy it?

That depends. The idea is certainly a good one; no one wants their family to become homeless in the event of an untimely death. On the other hand, such a policy is rather limited. It does one thing only – it pays off the mortgage. A better alternative might be a term life insurance policy, which would simply pay cash to a designated beneficiary. He or she could then use it to pay off the mortgage or they could use if for other needs. This might offer greater flexibility than would mortgage insurance.

Term life insurance might be cheaper, as well. This will depend on the age and health of the applicant. For someone under 40 in good health, term insurance might be a great deal cheaper. For someone older, someone with poor health, or someone who smokes, the mortgage insurance might be a better deal, as premiums for life insurance can increase dramatically under those circumstances. Most people who wish to protect their assets would probably be best served by a term life insurance policy, anyone who has any questions about it should probably consult with both their insurance agent and a representative from their mortgage company.

Everyone is connected digitally. Your resume may say a lot about you, but does your web page say more to an employer than you want them to know? Your resume may become a waste of paper if an employer performs a simple Google search and learns that you drink too much, are promiscuous, steal or even worse.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking a prospective employer isn’t going to check up on you. They will. They do.

If you have been sending out a lot of resumes, but not receiving any phone calls for interviews, you should probably start asking yourself some questions. You goal is determining what it is that is disqualifying you from making the desired impact you are trying to make on prospective employers.

The resume in some instances is not the problem. A job candidate’s qualifications may even be a perfect match for a job opening. What ends up destroying a persons chances of getting past the screening process can be as simple as the means they are using to make social contacts on the internet.

Recruiters and hiring managers have a difficult job themselves. They are trying to find the best people to fill vacant positions. While there are almost always more candidates than there are jobs available, many candidates leave themselves wide open to scrutiny by allowing simple situations to control their career potential. Sometimes this is not an on-line issue, but other times it is.

You have heard of My Space or perhaps Xanga. You may have accounts on those sites. It shouldn’t be difficult to appreciate how employers are turning to those sites and others like them to find out more about job candidates. Really…how hard it is to Google anything these days?

People who provide public details of their private lives are in jeopardy of becoming a casualty in the job search process. Why? Many people think that posting comments about past relationships, drinking binges, gloating about cheating on test or other such unacceptable behavior is not going to be read by anyone other than their friends.

That line of thinking couldn’t be more wrong. You would be shocked by what a person can find out about you with just a few clicks or just a few dollars.

Be cautious if you use social sites on the web. Omit details that might eliminate you from being considered for a job opportunity. Recruiters and hiring managers will be checking to see if you have a web presence. If you do, be conservative and upbeat. Reflect to others the kind of person you want to be known as. Employers take that seriously, too.
